But Urban thought this was a fine opportunity to take back the Holy Land for Christianity. Therefore, hundreds of thousands of Christians showed up at Constantinople, demanding a meal. Then they went off to the Holy Land, capturing Jerusalem, Tripoli, Antioch, and Edessa. It was a smashing success.
